My friend introduces me to the shooting game Silent Hill The Arcade in the videogames center at Suntec City Singapore and was hooked on immediately. Though it costs a whooping SGD$2 - 4 Tokens to play, I manage to play till the end stage with just a single first try... Woot! It was definitely worth it as it's about an hour of suspense and horror but just seriously fun and exciting. Will play it again tomorrow and the weekends. I just can't get enough of it ever since the playstation version...

J's Chimes: My Desktop Your Desktop
Everytime you switched on your computer, the first thing that you would see is definitely your desktop. (Unless your computer crashes...) My current wallpaper would be Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid... Haven't found anything better to set. I love to keep my desktop clean unless when there are important shortcuts or progams that I would need frequently. Do you keep your desktop clean and tidy or full with icons all around?

J's Chimes: The Anime That Began It All...
The anime Dual! Parallel Troubled Adventure, which released in 1999 was one of the few Japanese animations that got me interested in animes. (Which in turn become one of my hobbies too...) There are many others but this particular one impact me the most as I watched it may times through without getting sick of it... Recorded it in VHS tapes before but had saved it in Realplayer format now... What animations that impacted you a lot and made you watch animes too?

J's Chimes: Zombie Time!
For some reason or another, I started revisiting the resident evil games. Played Resident Evil Outbreak and suddenly got hooked into playing the entire Resident Evil series. The movie is nothing compare to the game and Outbreak really keeps me thinking... what will we do if something like that will to happen? Milk products from China are a scare now though... Resident Evil brought in other title like the Xbox 360 'Deadrising' and the upcoming game 'Left 4 Dead' by the counterstrike creators. Eagerly waiting for the fifth installment as it rocks. Check the trailer out here and be awed. Another recommendation would be to read this manga titled 'Highschool Of The Dead' which is so interesting that it makes you crave for more...

J's Chimes: Kamen Convention
In today's 'My Paper', the Games Convention Asia has seen an increase in the the number of visitors for this year. And a couple of cosplayers around like Kamen Rider and stuff. Plenty of games being displayed there and if you'd missed it, then surely you would have to wait till next year. Read more about it here or view the photographs that I've taken in the previous post.

J's Chimes: Games Convention Asia
The Games Convention Asia is held from the 18th - 20th September 2008 and today's the last day of this event so for those who have read my post right now, I suggest you go there now as it's a once a year event. Seriously I prefer last year's event... In any case here's some goodies I've got and even bought a new Juggernaut Mouse Mat which measures about 90 x 40cm. Comes with a free T-shirt too. And for ya gamers out there, go grab a free copy of MO Times for your reading pleasure. More pictures of the GCA Event here or visit the website here.

J's Chimes: My Room
Does your room looked like this? Do you tidy your room and dust your figures every now and then? Fortunately I tidied my room every now and then and usually placed my figures in the cabinet. One word of advice though, don't play eroges with your sister...

J's Chimes: Figma Miku & Revoltech Pocco Get-to!
Went to China Square Central (CSC) and got these 2 nice figures today. Firstly the wonderful Hatsune Miku by Figma which released this month and bought Pocco by Revoltech for a low price of SGD$15. It seems that CSC is having discounts on most Revoltech toys and figures in this week's flea market. Don't you think the Nendoroid Miku and Figma Miku look good together? Next would be the scale model lol...

J's Chimes: Upcoming Animes
This is seriously worrying... There are a lot of animes that I've yet to watch and now this fall, plenty of animes coming up soon... Ahh! Too many good ones too and it looks like I gonna have to burn the midnight oil and start watching animes 24-7 to catch up with the pace once again... Just finished Slayers Revolution and I recommend it to anyone who loves a few laughs...

J's Chimes: Anime & Manga In Singapore
In today's Mandarin Newspaper 'My Paper', it says here that people watching animes and manga are increasing in Singapore. 30% of whom are females... Wow, but it's just too bad I din get to meet with one though... In any case it's quite a good sign for us fans out there... Share the love!
You can read it up here at http://www.mypaper.sg/. That is if you can read Chinese...

J's Chimes: Console Games
It's been a long time since I've touch my Game Consoles... But I guess the craze will be back once more as I found a new game from the creators of Final Fantasy and Star Ocean. Infinite Undiscovery gameplay is similar to that of Final Fantasy XII and it's graphics really blew my mind... Can't wait to pre-order this soon... Check it out at http://www.infiniteundiscovery.com/.

J's Chimes: Lucky Chuta
Probably one of the wackiest opening I've ever seen... Doesn't even come close to the anime Lucky Star but I gonna give credit to the cosplayer dressing up as Konata though... By the looks of it, it's probably an R-rated video or some sort. Anyway here's the actual Lucky Star Opening...

J's Chimes: Happy Birthday Miku
Was I too late or what? Well for the benefit of those who dunno, 31 August was our favourite vocaloid Hatsune Miku's birthday... Oh how could I have forgotten? In any case I'm relief that I've pre-ordered the scale model of her and it will be arriving sometime this month. Happy Belated Birthday Miku! Trying to get the Figma one too!

J's Chimes: Revamp & Renew
It's almost 3000 Hits soon and J's Chimes is planning to revamp the entire blog with an all new template design and outlook... Still pending as there are couple of issues coming up which can affect the blog... Anyway, for my friends who visit this site for the first time... Yes I love anime a lot and thus am dedicating my free time to creating a blog to show my passion and hobbies to everyone around me (Of course I am still who I am though...) It may be a wrong move or maybe not but I really hope that this passion could open up to many without discrimination. By any means that's offensive to you, please press the 'action' button on the top right of your screen...
