Winter Sonata, a soap opera drama series made in Korea had found its way into the Japanese anime industry. Acted by Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo, the korean language was retained into the anime instead of subbing it into Japanese... Now that's the first surprise when I watch this anime...
The anime adaptation was once again voiced over by the same actors of this drama series. Amazingly, this anime has over 26 episodes unlike most normal short animes that ended with 12. The animation is seemingly nice and gives off the same aura as the real drama series...
The ending to this anime is exceptionally stunning because it reverts back to the life action drama series... Somehow they made it flow from the 2D animation world to the 3D world we are standing now... That's really something you don't see everyday in any anime series till date...
I didn't really watched this Korean drama series though but it was rather popular that time when it aired... Enough said, I believe all animes should have a proper good ending so that we wouldn't bang our heads and curse at swear at why it didn't turn out well...
