J's Chimes: Blog Theme History

J's Chimes have evolved over the years but its saddening that I've lost the theme of my website from long ago... Anyway here's my previous Blue skies theme for my blog. This marks the dramatic change for my blog including the hits and posts I've written. This theme clearly represents what am feeling that time because it was the December Holidays and am really feel to revamp the website.

Tried a Christmas Theme that very same year and it turns out much redder than expected. Whatever the case, it's really striking and blends well with the occasion am celebrating. However, Christmas does only last a day so had to quickly change to a new theme after a few days time.

A fresh new start begins with greenery as the theme for the New Year. However some issues appear because of the switch of my new computer as all graphics are in 800 x 600 back then. Seriously at this period of time, J's Chimes has revamped many times in order to appear new to visitors out there. And my call was answered with a current theme I am using as of now...

The current J's Chimes presents a much more classy and authentic look, with support of resolutions above 800 x 600. It is now permanently used as the main theme for my blog in this year. Am currently still considering making a new theme back due to constraints and the many event coming up this year, didn't had the luxury to. However, am still gathering inspirations to creating a new one though lol... Anyway, there you have it. Hopefully am able to find back the old theme for your viewing...

J's Chimes: Let's Talk Hentai

A category less talked about on the outside but rants like crazy in the internet and forums, hentai is often associated with adult stuff, fetishes and perverseness. Or is it?Base on research and even on a dictionary, the real meaning of 'Hentai' is actually 'Someone who acts strangely'. In Japanese, 'Hen' means strange so the fact that it's been related to pornographic materials are somewhat strange indeed.

But looking back at adult anime games, they are normally called 'H-Games' by the context of people outside of Japan. The reason? The Japanese created a slang known as 'Ecchi' to 'Short form' the longer word for saying 'Let's have sexual intercourse' in which I believe you will not say it to your lover too when you have the word 'sex' as a generic term for it. Thus Ecchi sounded so much like the word H, which many people mistakenly believes it's known as Hentai instead... thus the misunderstandings occur...

Now, such are being corrected with new terms such as Ecchi or 'perverted' in English, Eroge or Galge (Adult Games). However, Hentai is still often used to differentiate between genres. For example, the infamous Bible Black is classified as Hentai whereas animes like To Love Ru or Ladies Vs Butlers are classified as Ecchi animes with plenty of Fan Service. So next time, remember saying the right term for the right stuff...

J's Chimes: 8 Eye Catching Season's Anime Theme Songs

This season is packed with many nice opening theme songs for animes old and new. And my current best would be B Gata H Kei because of its song and introduction for the anime. And sometimes you wouldn't mind watching the opening instead of just skipping directly to the anime, which means that the opening theme song is eye catching and worth viewing over and over instead of some in in which you'd only watched it once...

Another good one nonetheless would be the new season of K-On! and from the introduction, you could clearly see that the animators put in lots of effort for it. I like the part in which the camera circle around them playing their instruments. Not to mention the funny part in which Mio slipped and pull Ritsu down along the slippery pavement... lol.

A lot of people criticize this anime because of its poor quality animation. However the story and graphics gets better along the way. The reason for such poor quality would probably be the new technology they trying to embed in the anime which anime characters are made using 3D graphics, such an example would be the ending theme of Kiss x Sis if ya want to know what it looks like. But the opening theme for this anime is seriously nice and creative...

This surreal anime opening is one of my favourites as I love art like this a lot. It is not easy to think of something out of the box like this. Can be in comparison with the opening theme of Welcome To The NHK! anime. It's very artistic and creative and with a melodic song adds in a little mysteriousness of this anime. Seriously this anime is really weird...

Once again another game turn anime, Hakuouki takes you back to the Edo period of Japan where the Shinsengumi Team is, fighting for justice and righteousness. I absolutely adore this song very much as it fits the theme much. Thought this anime has a lot of Bisounen (Beautiful Males) which girls like, this is one nice anime to watch. Not to mention that such Classic opening is something so rarely seen these days...

This anime's opening theme is so freaking addictive because of its chorus... You'd just have to watch it though as it's just so Kawaii! (Yup, thats the word...) Yet to really watch this anime but somehow this theme song is getting to me... The freaking actions are just so funny... just like those in Azumanga Daioh anime. Nice opening theme~

The Epic Anime many people are talking about that tops charts for this season and the latter. The opening theme certainly strikes you hard with its amazing 'view of things'. (For example street lights, buildings, people walking in a very different perspective) This is really 1 anime not to be missed. Not to mention its graphics and animation... Really nice.

A very much classic and retro opening theme would be Ichiban Ushiro No Daimaou anime. A blend of catchy anime song and animation leaves this anime opening in style.
Originated from a manga, this is a must watch for this season of animes around. What would you do if you found out that you are the demon king?

These are the 8 anime opening themes that caught my attention because of its uniqueness. Other opening songs are good too but lacks such appeal or than they are just too predictable and normal, just like any other animes around. Some of which includes Ikkitousen or Seikon No Qwaser. Anyway, you got to see all the clips up there and you'd understand what I meant...

J's Chimes: Exams In Progress...

By the time you are reading this post, that means that am now in the exam hall of my school taking the ever so stressful exam now... But not to worry about the blog daily posting because had already post plenty of stuff ahead of time so they will all automatically be published at 10am daily, everyday without fail... Hope the exam papers are easy and that may be able to proceed on to my last semester. In any case, tune in for more interesting posts coming in your way since the holidays are coming in soon enough...

J's Chimes: Enjoy The Good Moments Of Animes

Do you have sections and parts of animes you loved so much that you would replay and watch them over and over? For the sake of viewers out there, here are some fun parts you would wanna remember by and loving it... laugh hard at it and getting emotional to it... 1 of such would be K-On! Season 2 where Mugi got all tense up that her keyboard could speak through Ritsu's playing... Love that cute smile and shiny eyes anytime...

And in the new anime of Kaichou Wa Meido-Sama, Misa wore a Neko Mimi hairband in Maid outfit greeting her ever so curious guy Usui who knew her secret. This eye twitching scene is funny along with Usui saying that Car Ears are Moe~ with a sarcastic look and tone...

Riko is learning to cook for her brother in third episode of Kiss x Sis. Being a 'Buracon' (Brother Complex), she loves her brother just like her twin sister Ako and engage in much funny sibling rivalries. Cooking becomes a sexy thing of seasoning a normal cucumber into something obscene that even the teacher who passes by is stun by her actions...

Yamada in B Gata H Kei anime wants to have 100 sex friends in high school and starts off with hunting a normal guy to begin her journey. However, she met with many troubles along the way. Once in a dark room of the photography club, the guy named Kosuda is being preyed upon by her. But it ended up with a accidental touch of flying Bs and Cs of love with a censorship that reads 'Oni Kage' on important parts. Oni Kage means Demon's Shadow.

And lastly, the ever so lucky guy Rito is being put in an another interesting situation of Ecchi-ness where Kotegawa is seen without her underwear when she falls in front of him... No guy is as lucky as him... But somehow it always ended up with a whack! or dang! here and there...

There are many more anime scenes and parts that are fun to watch again or replay to get that comedic moment back and laugh out loud at it... It really liven up your spirits though. In any case, the very first anime I'd watch many times over is El Hazard and Dual! which will be talked about in later posts. Enjoy those moments of goodness in animes that get you addicted to anime in the first place and loving it....

J's Chimes: Miku 4 Dead

You like killing witches in Left 4 Dead? Well, this may change your mind.... Some modders make a model skin of Hatsune Miku to replace the scary witch. Oh my God... So cute but yet so deadly. Crying and waiting for you unexpectedly and chase you and tear you to pieces...

Speaking of witches, the skin is somehow rather detailed though. With a look like that on close up... Maybe you really do want her to chase you...lol. Perhaps a change of the crying music to a vocaloid one would be nice...

Oh No! You killed Hatsune Miku! Fans will be so sad and enrage... lying there in a pool of blood. Left 4 Dead will never be the same again... Oh ya, you can download it for free here and paste in in your L4D2 game folder just for fun. Yet to test this out yet as I am so don't wanna kill her. But it's kinda fun seeing stuff like this in a game once in a while... Wonder how the Counterstrike skin is for this... Anyway, the new DownLoad Content (DLC) for L4D2 'The Passing' map is out at 24 April at 8am Singapore time already so play till your hearts content....

J's Chimes: Meaningful Quotes And Phrases In Animes

In almost all Japanese animations, there are bound to be meaningful or unforgettable quotes and phrases that will surely catch your attention. In the case of Suzumiya Haruih No Yuutsu, Haruhi's weird introduction is often remembered: 'I'm Haruhi Suzumiya, from East Junior High. First off, I'm not interested in ordinary people. But, if any of you are aliens, time-travelers, or espers, please come see me. That is all! ' (In episode 1)

And here are 7 meaningful quotes in which had gathered from various animes in which i think is kinda relevant, at least from anime point of view:

Akira - By Kiyoko
The future is not a straight line. There are many different pathways. We must try to decide that future for ourselves.

Chrono Crusade - By Chrono
I want...to change things. I want to believe that anything can be changed. The moment I met you, a new world opened up for me. You see, after wandering in the darkness for so long, a light brought me happiness. It's all thanks to you.

Fruit Basket - By Tohru Honda
My happiness comes from the kindness of those around me.

Gundam Seed - By Kira
If I have the power to make a difference, why not put it to good use?

Tokyo Mew Mew - By Ichigo
A lot of things have happened, but it was good to find a new friend.

Welcome to NHK - By Satou
You're not going home a loser.

Zoids Chaotic Century - By Colonel Schubaltz
That's some good advice. Maybe I should write that down, frame it, and stick it up on my wall.

Sometimes its best to watch animes attentively or watch it twice in order to grasped what you've missed out or what they are trying to say. You might even get to understand certain things better or some jokes more funnier than ever. For example, I really can't stop laughing in Baka Test even after watching it more than once. Phrases and quotes thus become clearer and understood... Of course there are many more good quotes from all various animes so you may wanna keep a lookout on those now...

J's Chimes: Relationships Break Friendships

Sometimes, things portray out in animes about slices of life do happens in real-life or should I say, in the reality that we are in. Though not many people would agree to this because it is fiction and created by an author's imagination, the truth is that some of which could be a life lesson in real-life which we can learn from. Such examples would be when one of your best friends or so has a relationship, the probability of contacting or meeting with each other will decline. No doubt the one whom you may spend the rest of your life is important (Which I think it is because its sad not to have one), but friends are important just as well. Although animes tend to bring things overboard, it is often wise to translate it into another meaning that fits well into the reality that you are in, and then balancing them both so you could live life to the fullest...

J's Chimes: Sexy Translations

Sometimes Fansubbing fails and if you've read my previous post here, you should know why. But at times, subs can be thought of as obscene and funny that deviates from the actual meaning the anime wants to portray. Such an example would be the one above.

Thinking it in another manner, it almost sounded like the sister is teaching her younger brother or a sister something about adulthood. Yeah man... stretch it firmly~

Looks like they're preparing for a sound beneath the skirt where the microphone is... Are they broadcasting something obsene through the PA system?

If you can't find a suitable adult toy to pleasure yourself with, how about making do with a fresh fish just caught from the sea... same results whatsoever~

I wouldn't dare go close to that if I were you... It sounds so.... ya know...

I can only say this in a less sexist way... In terms of fruits, I say a banana and 2 rambutans... yeah...

Oh my God... No wonder ya have blisters all over your hand... Must have done it hard and long...

Your balls have gone on a journey...

it's not a secret anymore with more than a thousand viewers everywhere watching this anime...

Wow... wouldn't you love wild Cousin Yui?

Sailor Moon says its ok for such a taboo relationship...

It's a guy's job to trust into any hole...

Fansubs are generally getting better nowadays with better education and the increase of people taking up Japanese classes resulting in a demand for better quality. Which ever the case, we all should appreciate the work of such fansubbers who would go through all the trouble of recording, renting, buying the anime and translating it for the benefit of our viewing pleasure. So next time ya see a failed translation, you know what to do...

J's Chimes: Truly Devoted

Yesterday was the birthday of a fictional character named Nene Anegasaki from the popular love-dating simulation game titled Love Plus. As to such, many of her devotees celebrated her birthday with real cakes and presents around their Nintendo DS... If you haven't already know what Love Plus is, click here to find out more. Else all I could ever say was that, this game has gotten someone to marry the game's fictional character, causes many divorces in Japan, has people hook on 24 hours interacting with the characters just like Tamagouchi (A pet raising toy popular in the past). However the case, this game is a double edge sword that can help or harm people. I actually wanted to try this game but it seems like it really doesn't work on the old model of my DS... Oh well, time to move on to the next in-thing now...

J's Chimes: Early Game Commercials

Video games have been constantly evolving and are becoming more realistic than ever. Well, games are getting better and better with the advancement of technology used to produce high quality games in which we play now. But seriously, have you really taken a look back into early generation games back then? Classic games like Rockman to Street Fighter and Mario are some of the many examples of creative games in the past and here's a video clip of the many commercials being broadcast on television in the past to promote their consoles. Consoles like the Nintendo and Sega Genesis are some of the popular entertainment systems of the past. Watching these clips sure brings back memories but sometimes the advertisements are rather funny because such 'powerful' games in which they promote before are not applicable now because of even better consoles like the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 that we are using now...

J's Chimes: Ball Joint Dolls

A Ball Joint Dolls Gathering was organized last Saturday at Vivo City Singapore by the people from SGcafe. A group of people with similar interest for these realistic dolls come together to share and display their dolls to others and taking photos of their 'sons and daughters'. Anyway this is actually the first time for me up close and person with such a hobby and models and they turn out to be rather good. Except the fact that these dolls could cost as much as SGD$2000 a piece depending on its make and quality... And clothes and other accessories are not included by the way... In any case, click here and here to view the photos I've taken and be awed at it's details and beauty.

J's Chimes: Real Models For An Apocalypse

Been playing the Left 4 Dead series? Then here's something you should know. The characters in the part 1 and 2 series of L4D are modeled after real people from around the world... Well, famous people and sorts. Click on the picture to see who's modeled after who and you'd realized that they look almost the same in many sense. So if really an L4D movie coming anytime soon, hopefully they use these people as the real survivors and follow the game in accordance... that would be so cool, except that their voices are different from in the game...

J's Chimes: Fighting Yourself...

In the latest chapter of the Fairy Tail manga, the entire guild is warped to an alternative world where the hero counterparts reside with some of the characters fighting on the dark side. This climatic episode features Erza fighting the evil Erza on this new land and things are going to get heated up with their weapons and armor. (The anime sure is slow so interested fans I recommend you go read the manga as its already pretty far ahead...) Can't wait for the exciting continuation of the manga, and not to mention the anime in which the Fairy Tail mages are up against a moving fortress...

J's Chimes: Where's The Arcade Game?

It's been a long time since I've visited the video game centers and went searching around for any Japanese games that may still be around. Surprisingly the ever so popular game in Japan a few years back titled Otomedius is gone. Seriously the machine is still so new that you can feel it from the controls, the screen to the machine that's so white and clean, it's almost not been used much before. It's a pity though that such games are not appreciated in Singapore. Anyway here's the opening introduction for the game in video game centers and it's on a 800 x 600 resolution screen...

Luckily, an Xbox 360 version of it came on sale last year and immediately bought it online that time at a price of SGD$80+ which shot up to about a hundred because of the increasing value of the US currency. This is a HD resolution of the game and thus the rectangular screen... Relive the game today and it sure brings back memories that time I tried it at the game center. Doubt this game will appear ever again because it's not often been played. I love the Xbox 360 opening intro better than the arcade version....

J's Chimes: You Can't Run From Ecchi-ness...

They are seemingly everywhere in the Japanese Culture be it mangas, games, anime, etc. The fact is that most people of ages 21 and above (Especially those who are not in touch with animes or the culture before...) are the ones that condemned or despise this kinda stuff. Try telling them that these are works or art or that Ecchi stuffs are normally used in a context whereby at many a times creates heartbeating and comedic surprises for anime lovers around. Even the popular series Bleach has a bit of Ecchi-ness so look who's complaining? Anyway there are different levels of Ecchi-ness in such animes and stuff and unless you're talking about hentai, then that's a different caliber altogether. Even though said, it's still sometimes hard to distinguish between Ecchi and Hentai as they basically means much the same in the Japanese context...

Wednesday 14 April 2010

J's Chimes: Hideyoshi Fever

Ever since the anime Baka To Test To Shokanjuu aired last season, one of the most talked about character would be Kinoshita Hideyoshi. Classified as a Shota Trap, this guy is certainly an eye-candy for fans around because of the cross-dressings and provocative poses the anime has gone into. Then all of a sudden in the Japan Newtype Anime Magazine, Hideyoshi is ranked as one of the top 10 Male Characters of May at 3rd place right after Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi and Lelouch from Code Geass. With that also brings about new directions for the doujinshi and H industries too featuring him in also another eye-candy situations and adult fantasies... Well, all famous animes get this kinda treatment every now and then because of their popularity... In any case, Baka Test is still a nice anime to watch again because of its comedic genre which will sure to make you laugh 100% all the time.

Tuesday 13 April 2010

J's Chimes: Fantasy Comes Alive

Titled Fantasy Comes Alive, this video games and anime concert will be held on the 30th April and 1st May 2010 at the University Cultural Hall. With special guest Hitoshi Sakimoto, the composer for the Final Fantasy XII and Valkyria Chronicles music, tickets are currently on sale at sistic from $20 to $50. It also includes a mini cosplay event or competition where you can dress as your favourite character while watching the concert... (Kinda weird...) Well in any case, you can visit their website at www.fantasycomesalive.com for more details. Somehow or rather it clashes with my exam dates so can't go even if I want to. If you do like music from games and anime then maybe ya wanna check this out.

Monday 12 April 2010

J's Chimes: National Anthem

Thought this is rather interesting posted by one of my friends in Facebook. Seems like someone uses the vocaloid voice synthesizer program by Yamaha to created a voice over for our National Anthem song which was normally sung by a group of people we don't really know. Voice over with Vocal Megurine Luka, this is just so weird because the song's in Malay language... But seriously speaking, I wouldn't mind them changing it to this and aired it for our school's National Anthem Flag lowering ceremony... Maybe someone should try it and look at the surprise faces of the students and the teachers.... not to mentioned the principal...

Sunday 11 April 2010

J's Chimes: Digital SLR Get-to!

Bought a new DSLR at the Singapore Great Electronics Sale 2010 at Suntec City, Woot! It's a Canon EOS-550D at a price of SGD$1449. Darn, it really cost me a bomb here but al the more am feeling rather happy with the results it has given me in photo-taking...

Once again, the joy of opening up a new gadget is thrilling... As this is the latest item after the EOS-500D, gonna take some photos with it for remembrance... lol. Anyway this photo is taken using my Panasonic Lumix Camera...

And this photo is taken using the DSLR that I've bought... The photo is no doubt many times sharper and clearer than a compact digital camera... Click on the pictures and see it up close by comparison. Anyway, the EOS-550D comes with 18 Megapixel, 3.7fps, 3 inch LCD Display, Full HD recording, DIGIC 4 Processor, Live View and Integrated Cleaning System... Cool...

All wrapped up and nice is the SLR inside the packaging. Took me an hour to fully exploit all the goodies and freebies they throw into the set. Seriously need to get accustomed to the new camera now...

And finally, here are the freebies included in the set. Instead of buying only a camera, I've got freebies that are so much and even bigger than the camera itself... And they include:

1.) Additional flashlight attachment
2.) Cleaning Kit
3.) Screen Protector
4.) USB Card Reader
5.) Additional Battery
6.) 2 x 8gb Memory Card
7.) Protective Lens Cover
8.) SLR Carry Bag
9.) Camera Dry Box
10.) Tripod Stand

And now will be the time to take quality photos from Conventions and Events which am so eagerly waiting for... Tomorrow is a Sunday so might wanna go out for a photo shoot...

Saturday 10 April 2010

J's Chimes: Making A Zaku Gundam Cosplay

With the exams coming soon and back for re-service in the Army right after that really sucks... Have been planning to make a Gundam Cosplay for the upcoming cosplay events coming next season but somehow or rather have been getting road blocks here and there. For a good start have manage to find a sample on how to construct the helmet. Seriously wanna make the best and quality cosplay so that people would admire. Just hoping that there will be enough time for me to do so though as thinking of adding lots of gadgets and stuff like lights or so just like 00 Emotions cosplayer whom really inspired me into making my own. However am still in a pondering stage whether or not to go ahead once exams are done...

Friday 9 April 2010

J's Chimes: It's The Season Of Moe And Ecchi-ness...

This season has a couple of Moe and Ecchi-ness in demand for all anime fans out there in due time for Spring... Well, spring does bring about a brand new start of a new season and probably so to pump up heat to all anime goers around in search of love... lol. In any case, this season anime includes K-On!, B Gata H Kei, Kiss x Sis, Ichiban Ushiro No Daimaou, Heroman, Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama, Angel Beats!, Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan, Arakawa Under The Bridge, Mayoi Neko Overrun! and many many more coming your way... Just when I thought Baka Test is over, there are even better animes coming soon so be sure to watch them and make your day!

Thursday 8 April 2010

J's Chimes: Period Of Compulsive K-On! Spendings

The ever so popular K-On! has finally debuted this season and many fans cheered for its return and also compulsive spendings on which ever K-On! products that featured in advertisements and even stuff that appears in the anime. Devoted fans have somehow tracked down items as shown in the opening and ending themes of the anime and found out that Mugi uses a Hammond New B-3 piano with a Leslie 122XB speaker behind. Next would be Mio's microphone which is the Audix OM-5 and finally the Nivea Lip Cure lipstick used by Yui. Well if you are really that rich, maybe you could invest on the piano or the microphone. In any case, loved this anime a lot too and eagerly waiting for the next episode...

J's Chime: They Are All Connected To Anime...

Some people just don't understand the importance of Japanese anime in our lifestyle so I thought that a little 'Education' is necessary for you to know why. Of course you do know how anime begun and stuff but do you really know that they actually connected to all industries around? Think harder and you will get the gist of it. They are as per follows:

Anime inspires mangas & doujinshi and vice versa:
Till date, most mangas are now being made into anime because of their popularity. Some examples are Bleach to Naruto. Some animes also become manga and such would be Suzumiya Haruhi to Code Geass. Sometimes the storyline deviates from each other or that the style of art is different.

Anime comes from Eroge and vice versa:
Same as mangas, some adult games do become anime (Other genre includes ecchi and hentai) and vice versa. Some examples are ToHeart, Comic Party and School Days. Surprisingly, Eroges seem have better storyline in some cases. Thus its inevitable that people who loved anime will definitely get to know Hentai too. Of course there are still Eroges that came out as a decent anime like Yoake Mae Yori Ruriiro Na, Izumo or Utawarerumono instead of making it into a H anime.

Anime creates Artwork, Fanbooks, Fanarts and vice versa:
A good example would be Queen's Blade in which the artwork are kinda popular that it becomes an anime a few seasons back. Anime also brings market to the art industry which also brought about making characters for games, movies, etc. An example of such Artist is Tony Taka who drew up characters for Shining Tears, games and anime.

Anime helps develop games and vice versa:
A nice example would be the Suzumiya Haruhi game on PSP and an example of games becoming anime would be Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Vesperia, etc. In fact, games are made to look like anime characters and you could name many though in the market.

Anime releases movies and vice versa:
Anime creates movies in both live action, animation and 3D. Examples of live action includes Death Note, Animations as in Summer Wars and 3D animations like Final Fantasy The Spirits Within. In fact there are more of such movies and popular ones like Death Note live action has been watch by many people whom includes those who don't like anime. But the thing is, it originates FROM anime, so why are you complaining?

Anime brings about products into industry and vice versa:
With anime's popularity comes about toys for kids, daily necessities like food to tissues or plates etc, stickers, cups, straps, wallets, clothes, appliances, electronics and many many more stuff in the market which in turn generates profit. If you for once think that anime is useless or should be ban, won't all of these industries be affected and create loss of jobs, revenue, opportunity costs?

Anime becomes hobbies and scale models and vice versa:
With anime, it brings about demands for scale models of favourite characters and stuff. Thus bringing about new hobbies for people. Anime creates new demands like daimakura, card games like Bushiroad's Weiss Schwarz, Gundam modeling, Gashapons, etc.

Anime relates to Cosplay and vice versa:
Without animes, there won't be cosplay and without cosplay, there won't be animes. Similarly a new industry in regards to cosplay for example fashion, makeup, wigs, clothing stores would be affected if not for anime which inspires people to dress as their favourite character. With that there won't be conventions and such around.

Anime spurs conventions, competitions, events and vice versa:
Would there be comicon, comiket, AFA, Coscon, Cosfest, EOY and such happening around the world if anime does not exists? Won't there be a bit less entertainment for the general public if anime wasn't around? Think again....

Anime composed Songs & Music and vice versa:
So you've heard many songs in Japanese? Out of the few you've listened, there would bound to be one that's from an anime series. So you say that anime songs are bad... Are you saying that the idols who sang these are bad too? Take note that some of these anime song are sung by popular bands like Orange Range to Ayumi Hamasaki.

Anime brings about Seiyuus, Voice acting, writers, artists, Idols, etc:
May'n is an example of popular idols in Japan. Voice actings for anime characters, giving a boost to art in a country, etc are what anime could expand into. Without such there wouldn't be voice acting schools, artwork, writers around wouldn't it? Singapore is slowly picking up with animations and stuff in relations to IT so it wouldn't be surprising to see animation films by local people in future.

Anime brings about photography in parts of the world and also tourism in Japan:
Cosplay = Photography and I would be surprise if it wasn't... Such brings about also tourism in Japan by tourists from around the world who loves anime too. What else would also be popular in Japan? Hardly I can't think of any besides it having delicious food and shopping, scenery and culture...

BEST PART ABOUT Anime? Everything is linked together...
Anime = Mangas = Eroge = Artwork = Games = Movies = Cosplay = Models = Conventions = Songs..... Talk about any and it all adds up and links well together. Any other reasons to hate anime now? Take out either one and they will all fall like dominoes. Think deeper and you'd understand what animes really are... Of course there are still more connections in which animes could link to and no doubt it is a part of our daily lives before you know it. Your push toy to your phone strap could very well be from an anime when you least expect it...
