J's Chimes: Retired Figures

Sometimes you just have to make way for your hobby collections by disposing of the older models. Though it may be painful to do so, but its necessary to so as to make way for the new. I have little intention to keep Gashapons now due to the fact that will only be concentrating on scale models soon. So what do you do to your retired models too?

Ya. Am somehow giving up on Gashapons because most of them are either melted, unable to stand well, etc. Same to some scale models I have there. Lol, its definitely out of the question to microwave them as don't wanna pollute my oven. Figures are really toxic because of the chemical compounds they contain and may harm you if not threaded lightly...

i read that washing with warm water will remove the sticky oil.

you might want to experiment on 1-2 of them since if you are gonna throw them away you won't mind the risk of mold growing on them right? :p
